I Pull up, I Hop Out, at The Pop Up

I was depleted of energy….

I was fortunate enough to make it to city that day, but i also agreed to be a part of a pop up going on in Bushwick. I was on my last strings, but shit had to get done….I pulled up to Bushwick.

These people opened a beautiful free platform for vendors to pull up and show out.

There I was IKEA bag in hand and set up shop. Fortunate enough to meet the legendary NYC’s Clockwork Crosby. Cool people like me trap or dying out here. It was peace. It was Brooklyn.

Summer’s Interlude; Bushwick, Brooklyn ‘21

I posted for three hours and then I met Wendy. She was standing next to my work and it was 5 mins to 10 so started to pack up. Just as I took down my first clock, Wendy compliments my work. She was invited via some other friends and said she promised to buy one thing from every vendor that night. She said so here I am, she asked my price, and took her pic. Popped Eye found a new home.

I was broke and didn’t make money until Wendy came along. Angels are real y’all, no G shit.

I got to know Wendy and she turned out to be a creative as well. She’s working on her cosmetic nail biz. I’m not one rock some press on nails, but I did tell her she’s onto something with her niche! Do me a solid and send Wendy a follow and support, support, support like she held me down.
