our roots

Perry Easton is a Brooklyn artist who is making waves in the art world with his unique approach to abstract expressionism. As a first generation Guyanese American, Perry draws on his cultural heritage to create works of art that explore themes of tradition, time, and mental health. His ATTIE Project (Art's Timeless Time Is Eternal) is a testament to his commitment to preserving the values and traditions that are at risk of being lost in today's fast-paced world.

What sets Perry apart from other artists is his use of time as a medium in his artwork. Through his "Timeless Theory" and "Alignment Theory," Perry creates abstract faces that are bursting with color and emotion. Each of his pieces is a message of mental wealth, encouraging viewers to take time and make time for the things that truly matter in life. His art is a celebration of the human spirit and an invitation to slow down and savor life's precious moments.

Through his artwork, Perry Easton is spreading a positive message of hope and empowerment. His art is a reflection of his personal philosophy that life is precious and every moment counts. By creating works that speak to the universal themes of time, tradition, and mental health, Perry is making a powerful statement about the importance of taking care of ourselves and each other. His art is a reminder to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us all.

Artist Statement…

"Art is meant to be admired. Artifacts are meant to be discovered, held, and decoded. My vision has shifted from simply creating timeless art to crafting timeless artifacts—pieces that don’t just exist but invite interaction, mystery, and storytelling. Each artifact—whether a 1080 puzzle, a weathered page from the Giant’s lost diary, a 1080 Peso, or even a wanted poster of a 1080 perpetrator—is a fragment of a greater mythology waiting to be explored. Time itself, represented in timeless watches and clocks, reminds us that artifacts are not just objects; they are experiences locked in time, waiting to be unearthed."
