It’s a blessing to have the opportunity to share The ATTIE Project with the world. It began as a thought, and through persistence, consistency, and resilience, ATTIE continues to find itself being welcomed into many doors. I’m grateful to know the mind is capable of bringing such circumstances to fruition. When I started the brand/blog two years ago, I mentioned how the 1080p name and presence was made of interactions and conversations I’ve encountered in my life. This showcase allows me to shed light on this part of the journey.

‘For My Negus’ is the portion where I’m paying homage to brothers/sisters who have transcended in my lifetime. Majority of the influence comes from within, but the true essences/energies comes from the unknown. The good, the bad, and the ugly, it’s what we choose to do with these feelings, emotions, spells, frequencies, or just ‘thoughts’ that be make a difference. As people refer to the ancestors, ATTIE is a representation of not only the forebear’s energy, but also the tangible presence of the predecessors who are no longer here. Beings that once existed amongst us physically, and now they’ve become the ever-present, omni-presence of memories, or time well spent.

Launching on 7/11/22, I owe this instillation date the brothers, sisters, who are no longer with us. From this artist’s perspective, thankfully I can speak to only a few names, but a few too many nonetheless. Whether it be the streets, health, or natural causes, the conversations and interactions shared, continue to live on and are driving force/inspiration behind ATTIE’s progression. This install is an ode to the Kings and Queens, both here physically, and spiritual.
